The studio

These terms cover purchases from Knotty Twirls, a crochet studio that sells handmade bags, pouches, cases, hair ties, and scrunchies. Prices are in Indian rupees. Placing an order means you have read these terms, the Privacy page, and the Refunds page.

Handmade pieces

Most pieces are made to order. Making starts after you place the order, not before. Yarn dye lots shift, and two hands do not produce factory copies. Small differences in colour, size, and stitch from the photographs are part of the work.

Some pieces are already made and listed as in stock. The product page and your checkout summary say which kind you are buying, and they show the estimated delivery before you pay.

Notes you leave for colour, size, or gift wrapping are requests. We follow them as closely as the yarn and the design allow.

Patterns

Patterns are digital instructions, paid online. An in-stock pattern opens on your order once payment succeeds. A made-to-order pattern is prepared for you and is not a file you can download before it is ready. Pattern orders cannot be cancelled from your account. See Refunds.

Orders and payment

You can pay online, by UPI, card, or netbanking through Razorpay, or, for physical pieces, cash on delivery. Patterns are paid online only. Where a part-payment is offered, checkout shows the amount due now and the amount due later. GST, when it applies, is shown in the order summary.

An order is a request to buy. We may decline or cancel it if we cannot make the piece, cannot deliver to the address, or cannot confirm payment. If you had already paid online, that amount is refunded as described on the Refunds page.

Making and delivery

We currently deliver to Indian PIN codes. You choose normal or express delivery at checkout. The fee, packed weight, and estimated arrival are shown before you pay. For made-to-order work, that estimate already includes making days plus days on the road.

Physical orders are handed to our courier, currently Delhivery, once the piece is ready. A tracking update is sent when we have one.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You can review orders, saved addresses, and favourites from your account, and you can delete the account from Profile when you have no open order. Past orders stay with the studio. Reward points, when the programme is on, are a studio benefit. They are not cash, they can expire, and points tied to a cancelled or refunded order are adjusted.

Using the site

Use the site for your own orders and genuine reviews. Do not misuse the checkout, the chat, or another person’s account.

If something goes wrong

We take care with every piece. Returns and replacements are accepted within 7 days of delivery for defective or incorrect items with a continuous, unedited unpacking video, as the Refunds page explains. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, weather, or an address or phone number we cannot use.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
